The first intern hired by a developing sports news website targeted at women. Responsible for producing over ten front page-worthy editorial articles on a weekly basis. Interacted with fans and others in the sports media industry through the website's official social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest) and through personal accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+). Brainstormed, planned, and implemented social media strategies to increase web traffic and broaden audience.

Member of a select team of Penn State undergraduates to research, analyze, and implement strategies for communicating with an audience of prospective Penn State students. Represented Penn State through various social media mediums, such as blogging, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. Maintained a blog on the university Undergraduate Admissions Website and developed various forms of media content on behalf of the university's Undergraduate Admissions department. Developed personal mentoring relationships through social media with Penn State applicants and accepted high school students.

Working under the guidance of Dr. Mya Poe to complete a twelve-month honors thesis exploring the role of social media as a literacy sponsor in children grades K-12. Illustrating and communicating research and analysis through social and multimedia platforms, such as Tumblr, Storify, Google+, and Prezi. Thesis has been accepted for presentation at the National Association of Hispanic and Latino Studies in the 2013 National Association of African American Students & Affiliates Conference in Baton Rouge, LA.

On track to graduate with Honors in English. Three years of study in Italian. Active in various philanthropic community organizations such as Penn State's Dance Marathon, the Pennsylvania Special Olympics, and various child abuse awareness initiatives.
